We are seeking a motivated and professional Automotive Sales Consultant to join our team. This is a full-time opportunity located in Orange, CA, with competitive pay and excellent benefits.

Job Details

  • Salary: $50,000 to $150,000 per year

Work Schedule

  • Flexible work schedule, 4-5 days per week
  • Ability to take up to 7 consecutive days off per month

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers on the sales floor and conduct a needs analysis to identify vehicle preferences including make, model, and features.
  • Explain vehicle features and demonstrate operation in the showroom or on test drives.
  • Research availability of models and options using computer databases.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Finance & Insurance Managers to negotiate sales price, tax, trade-in allowances, license fees, and financing or lease terms.
  • Inspect inventory regularly by walking the lot.
  • Complete sales paperwork and coordinate delivery and vehicle registration.
  • Deliver the vehicle to customers and provide orientation on its features.
  • Attend required training sessions and department meetings.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Job Requirements:
  • One year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and training.
  • Strong sales skills with excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Organized with thorough follow-up skills to maintain client relationships before and after sales.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to speak a second language is preferred but not required.
